The creation of a website requires a delicate balance of what you want to convey and what your customers want to see. Where do you begin? I work with you to determine the content, graphics and interactivity that will drive users to your website and keep them coming back! With over 8 years of experience designing website layouts, graphics and user interaction for diverse clients, ranging from major technology providers to local artisans, I can help you drive traffic to your website and bring you a greater return on your website investment.
One way to increase customer website loyalty is to offer rich interactivity. Whether you’re interested in showcasing product demos, customer testimonial videos, an interactive portfolio of services or e-commerce, I can provide you with these elements on your website or for personal distribution.
Marketing your business calls for getting the word about your products and services out and about. Print materials and electronic communications that you can leave with prospective and current customers provide a constant reminder. People are more likely to hang on to well-designed and visually stimulating print pieces. I offer services for all of your print and electronic graphic design needs for brochures, fact sheets, postcards, signs, business cards, stationary, name badges, presentations, business documents, etc.
The best of kind of customer is a repeat customer. They become dedicated and reliant on your products and services, and more importantly, on you! I’ll work with you to understand your business’ core values and strengths. Your customers consider their brands to be cultural accessories and personal philosophies these days. Maybe you only wear one brand of sneakers. Maybe you only drink one cola. We associate a sense of pride with the brands we trust. You and I will work together to create a story, messaging and a style all your own, so people start catching the fever of your brand.

CLIENT: IDS Scheer
MEDIA: Direct mail postcard, conference guide booth promo advertisement, booth signage
IDS Scheer was attending the BPM Summit in Last Vegas and really needed to make a splash on the show floor as it was their first time exhibiting at this conference with a brand that wasn’t flashy or well known.
We were challenged with spicing up business process modeling software in one of the most vibrant and fun cities in the world while still staying true to IDS Scheer’s modest brand. Someone thought of a super hero to grab people into the booth when all of sudden another colleague suggested that what promote “super models” taking some of us a few seconds to register. The rest was history.
Our BPM super models strutted their stuff in a pre show mailer postcard, conference guide, and booth signage drawing in major curiosity and high booth traffic.

CLIENT: IDS Scheer
MEDIA: Website, software demos, online ARIS certification exam, project management portal, customer user group website and forum, quarterly international customer e-newsletter
In 2006, I was asked to prepare the initial website wireframe, prototype and manage the global website project for IDS Scheer, which involved collaboration with a team of 40 international colleagues from Europe, Asia and Latin America, as well as agency resources. Overall we had to implement a grand scale rebranded template package to our existing German-based content management system, optimized web content needing translation into 12 languages and training for 20 editors. 24 international websites had to be launched within a year.
In order to keep the group focused on deadlines and goals, we implemented Project-Pier, an open-source project management tool. Finally, we became a connected global team that met targets and deadlines, stayed abreast of issues and successfully provided assistance to the field.
The websites launched in groups throughout the year of 2007 and early 2008. Along the way, the team and I added a more accessible website metrics system for local marketing managers and improved a homegrown online certification exam, developed a new electronic international customer newsletter and directed several flash-based software demos available for download. The newly optimized content and rebranded website continues to draw in more user interactivity and leads.

CLIENT: ARIS ProcessWorld Conference - IDS Scheer Global
MEDIA: Event branding, save the date postcard, invitation, sponsor prospectus, Website, testimonial videos, e-mail template, Website and e-mail metric reports, speaker PowerPoint template, exhibit graphics, name badge and mini agenda, conference signage, event evaluation, post-show presentation CD-ROM, video/photography management
The annual conference ProcessWorld began as a small homegrown best practices event for IDS Scheer’s ARIS software users and local partners which grew to showcase major technology partners including SAP, Microsoft, Oracle and IBM and analysts from Gartner, Forrester, and AMR drawing in a substantial crowd from the Americas and the world.
During my stint at IDS Scheer, I created and managed print and interactive marketing deliverables and vendors for the conferences between 2004 and 2008, as well as acted as an onsite lead alongside our events team insuring that the integrity of the event theme and IDS Scheer message was upheld.

CLIENT: Clarus Systems
MEDIA:Flash-based video product demo
When I first spoke to voice over IP (VOIP) client Clarus Systems, the marketing manager had only a script, a handful of pre-recorded voiceovers by a sales representative and a couple screenshots of their application.
The goal was to produce a video for the web and CD with interactive navigation allowing users to choose segments about the company, company strategy, highlighted application and contact details.
I offered additional direction to the script, animated the product screenshots and business model images to highlight points referenced by the narrator using Illustrator and Flash, and gave it a nice web interface with a left navigation using Camtasia for cross-channel distribution including web full and blog versions, CD and full display screens.

CLIENT: Human Resources - IDS Scheer
MEDIA: Jewel-case, Interactive Flash file, Employee forms
When new hires started their first day at IDS Scheer, they were inundated with a file folder that Human Resource assistants would manually put together with possibly outdated forms and documentation, and limited marketing and company reference materials. Some would even have to wait several days in order to receive this package if they were located in the Atlanta or Toronto office or were consultants out in the field.
Challenged with version control and accessibility, the Director of Human Resources asked me to develop an all-in-one interactive CD that they could burn each time a new hire was to come on board with consistent messaging, recent forms, the latest marketing materials, sales templates and contacts.
I created an interactive flash interface which covered all key areas including day one details, welcome video from the president, benefits information, forms, handbook, time and expenses, travel, contacts and company information. Supporting documents and forms were rebranded, updated and made available in PDF format. All sales templates were updated to the new brand and offered in MS Word and PowerPoint formats. Human Resources could now burn these CDs for new hires and be sure that all documentation was accurate and up to date whether they were at headquarters or remote using the dedicated file directory with up to date versions.

CLIENT: ARIS User Group
MEDIA: Sitemap, wireframes, Website and Forum
The leads of the ARIS User Group composed of actual IDS Scheer customers from clients like Molson-Coors and Wyeth, had been asking my team for support to create a website which would promote group awareness, drive membership, provide meeting information, tips and tricks and other useful links and most importantly to connect users to subject matter experts.
After assessing member requirements and creating initial prototypes and wireframes, I collaborated with our global marketing managers, ARIS experts and senior developer to set to work on a clean website with an open-source forum.
The clients were extremely thrilled to finally have a website that they could manage on their own with a Google-based events calendar as well as a forum with valuable product information from the experts at headquarters and around the world.
